Before coming to Mount Druid I had always heard what an amazingly unique Irish Wedding Venue it was. There are very few places that occupy the same type of feel as Mount Druid. Every part of the venue has something unique and quirky.
There are a number of houses onsite and nearby to the venue for both parties to get ready the morning of the wedding. Many couples opt to get married in the Tin Chapel at Mount Druid but Leona and James tied the knot in the nearby Catholic church. If you are keen on having a church wedding these one is very close by to Mount Druid (literally across the road).
For the drinks reception guests arrive at the boathouse which is in its own separate part of Mount Druid. The venue itself is very large and all parts of the wedding day are scattered around the place. The venue have their own shuttle service in order to transport guests on the day. From a guests point of view its an ideal venue to stay overnight as they have lots of glamping onsite.
